Every flight school
deserves great software.
Three months on us.
Running a small flight school is hard enough. You shouldn't have to choose between spreadsheets and software you can't afford. Qualifying schools get 3 months of HangarOS free — full platform, all AI features, no catch. You begin on the standard two-phase trial (14 days no card, then 14 days with a card on file) and stay free for the rest of the program.
Built by a pilot, for the schools that need it most.
Small flight schools are the backbone of general aviation. They're where student pilots fall in love with flying, where instructors build their hours, and where local communities stay connected to aviation. But most flight school software is priced for large operations — leaving smaller schools stuck with whiteboards, spreadsheets, and duct-taped workflows.
HangarOS is a modern operating system for flight schools. Your fleet size shouldn't determine whether you get access to it. The Small Flight School Program is how we make sure every school — from a single Cessna 172 operation to a 10-aircraft fleet — can run like a professional operation from day one.
No strings. No bait-and-switch. Three months to see what a modern flight school OS does for your school.

- Q01
What is the Small Flight School Program?
The Small Flight School Program gives qualifying small flight schools full access to HangarOS — our cloud-based flight school management platform — completely free for 3 months. The program runs on top of HangarOS's standard two-phase trial: 14 days with no card on file, then 14 days with a card on file. With a card on file your school continues free for the rest of the 3-month program; you won't be charged until the program ends.
- Q02
What are the eligibility requirements?
Your school must have 10 or fewer aircraft, 5 or fewer full-time instructors, be FAA Part 61 or Part 141 certified, be based in the United States, and be currently operational.
- Q03
What happens after the 3 months?
After your free period, you can continue with our modular pricing starting at $49/month for Scheduling — add only the modules you need. Up to 15 aircraft and 500 users (students, instructors, and staff combined). No long-term contracts — cancel anytime. We'll reach out 30 days before your free period ends.
- Q04
Do I need a credit card?
Not to start. Your first 14 days are free with no card on file (Phase 1 of the standard HangarOS trial). To continue into Phase 2 and the rest of your 3-month program, you'll add a payment method — but you won't be charged a cent until the program ends.
- Q05
How long does the application review take?
We review applications within 2 business days. Once approved, we'll schedule a free onboarding call to get your school set up and running.
- Q06
Can Part 61 and Part 141 schools both apply?
Yes. Both Part 61 and Part 141 flight schools are eligible, as well as schools that operate under both certificates.
- Q07
Is there a limit to how many students or users I can add?
Our plan supports up to 15 aircraft and 500 users (students, instructors, and staff combined) — which is more than enough for small flight schools. During your 3-month free period you get the same limits as our paid plan at no cost.
- Q08
What is HangarOS?
HangarOS is an AI-powered flight school management platform that includes scheduling, aircraft maintenance tracking, student progress, billing with optional QuickBooks Online sync, training curricula, a knowledge base, and 10+ AI tools — all in one system built specifically for Part 61 and Part 141 flight schools.
