FAA Part 141,audit-ready out of the box.
Training course outlines tied to each approved course. Stage checks that can’t be skipped. Chief, assistant chief, and check instructor designations with qualification records. End-of-course tests with chief-instructor signature. Graduation certificates. Retention rules enforced — not optional.
The deliverables the FSDO asks for, already generated.
Every record a Part 141 audit walks through, mapped to a concrete artifact in HangarOS. No spreadsheets stitched the night before.
Training Course Outline (TCO) tracking
Each approved course is tied to its TCO with revision history. Stage outlines, lesson outlines, and end-of-course test specifications are version-controlled and exportable on request.
Stage check enforcement
Students cannot advance past a stage without a signed check-instructor sign-off. The system blocks the booking, not just the paperwork.
Chief / assistant chief / check instructor designations
Designations are flagged on the personnel record with qualification documentation. The data captured matches FAA Form 8420-8 fields for fast submission.
Student records: enrollment, progression, graduation
Enrollment certificates issued per §141.93. Progression captured per maneuver, per lesson, per stage. Graduation certificates issued and retained.
Aircraft + airworthiness records linkage
Lessons are tied to the airframe flown. AD/SB compliance and inspection currency on the aircraft is verifiable at the lesson level.
Instructor records: ratings, currency, recurrent training
Each instructor's certificates, ratings, currency, and recurrent training are tracked. Currency lapses surface before they affect dispatch.
End-of-course tests with chief instructor signature
Test results are recorded with the chief instructor's signature, the test instrument, the date, and the outcome.
Graduation certificates
Issued on course completion, retained per §141.101 retention rules.
Recordkeeping retention
Training records are retained for 1 year past course completion. Enrollment records for students who did not complete are retained for 6 months. Retention is enforced, not manual.
