Company Settings

Update your company name, manage general workspace settings, and delete your company if needed.

Company Settings is where you manage general information and configuration for your company workspace. Changes here affect the entire workspace and all its members.

Opening Company Settings

From the company sidebar, expand Company Settings and click the link. You need the company:edit permission to access this section.

Updating the Company Name

The company name is displayed throughout the dashboard and in any communication related to your workspace. To change it, edit the Company name field and click Save. The new name takes effect immediately for all users.

Choose a name that clearly identifies your flight school, as it appears in the sidebar for every member of your company.

Company ID

Each company has a unique internal identifier (company ID) that is used in API requests and for support purposes. This ID is read-only and cannot be changed. You may see it referenced in error messages or when contacting support.

Deleting Your Company

Deleting a company is permanent and irreversible. It removes the company workspace, all bookings, aircraft records, maintenance data, knowledge base documents, and all other data associated with the company.

To delete your company, scroll to the bottom of Company Settings and click Delete company. A confirmation dialog will appear requiring you to type the company name to confirm. Click Delete permanently to proceed.

Before deleting, we recommend downloading any important records and ensuring all members are aware the workspace will be removed. This action cannot be undone and support cannot recover deleted company data.

What Deletion Does Not Affect

Deleting a company removes the workspace and all its data but does not delete the HangarOS user accounts of its members. Each member will still be able to sign in and access any other companies they belong to.

Creating Additional Companies

If you operate multiple flight schools or need separate workspaces for different operations, you can create additional companies from the main Dashboard. Each company has its own separate subscription, data, users, and settings.
